Case Study: Scaling entire Blockchain team out of Middle East, hiring 35 Web3 developers within 2 months

Client: Scaling up entire engineering function by recruiting blockchain professionals (Web3 / Solidity) to the tune of 35 FTE’s within 2 months.

Outcome: Create a continuous pipeline of blockchain experts from proven backgrounds, scaling up entire engineering function with continuous talent pipeline. Inevitably, this improved entire Product roadmap & competitiveness of entire company. The Client’s launched entire product within record time. Today they successful, profitable Web3 company with minimal worries on engineering talent pipeline.

Challenge: The immediate issue was finding the Hyperledger suite blockchain experts that would fast track the product development. To solve this, we set about profiling businesses in Middle east that had a presence within blockchain space, targeting their former employees for recruitment. Getting high quality talent from established firms, working on similar technologies, we ensured that our employer branding was top-notch.

Starting from high emphasis on strong visibility on Career path, Skills growth, Technical & Behavioral competencies & strong product roadmap, we build a very lucrative value proposition, which from our research were strong pain points of the targeted firms. Leveraging technology was key here - to ensure that we had continuous engagement with Candidates, both, the ones who were in advance rounds of interviews & the ones who were offered, we partnered with a Candidate engagement platform - this ensured continuous engagement with Candidates in an automated way, giving us any early warning indicators if somebody was falling off the radar for manual intervention.

Additionally, for this scaleup to be effective, we revisited Onboarding entirely with Clients, digitizing almost 90% of existing program to ensure that talent gets aligned well with the Vision, Mission, Product roadmap & their roles as soon as they step in organization. This ensured higher engagement from talent while improving least time to getting them production ready.
